About Hans Brinker Hostel Lisbon

We offer cheap beds in basic rooms, perfect for students, backpackers and other young travelers. As we provide over 150 beds, we’re also a great hostel to host groups! You can book private rooms as well as a bed in a dormitory (from 4 up to 10 people). Most of our rooms have a private bathroom, but some are shared – of course, you can book them for a cheaper rate.

We’re a good money-for-value hostel. If you want to have a fun time in Lisbon and only use your bed to have a (short) night sleep and meet many people, this is the place for you!

Accommodation Information

All rooms with comfortable and large beds an air conditioning.

Some of the rooms leads to a balcony.

Rooms Type:

- Basic Dorm (6/8/10 Beds) with shared bath

- Female Dorm (10Beds) En-suite

- Quality Dorm (2/4/6Beds) En-suite

- Twin Room (Side-by-side Beds) En-Suite

- Single Room En-Suite

-We do not accept stag parties in the hotel. Stag parties will be refused upon arrival.

-There is a cash-only deposit of €5 per person for key. You get this back if you return your key on the day of check-out and if you check out on time.

-For dorms, there's a maximum age of 35.

-Maximum stay of 5 nights

-You must confirm your booking before 12 noon on the day of arrival. Even if you filled in a different arrival time you must call us before 12 noon to reconfirm your reservation. We reserve the right to cancel in case we don't hear anything from you by then! Please note that if you will be arriving later than the time you listed in your booking, you must contact us by telephone so that we can hold your reservation. If we haven't heard from you beforehand and you're late, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. No-shows shall be charged the equivalent of one night's stay. We will charge this to the credit card you used to make the booking.

Location Information

Once you leave the hostel, the fun isn’t over. We are located in Lisbon’s city centre, right next to the Parque Eduardo VII, a great place to hang out with a group of (new) friends in Summer. Bars and restaurants are located around the hostel. If you want to go to the old city centre, it is about a 20 minutes’ walk over the big boulevard ‘Avenida da Liberdade’.

Not up to walking much? Take the metro, the Picoas (yellow line) and Parque (blue line) stations are just around the corner of the Hans Brinker. From there, the metro will take you to the old city center in 5 -10 minutes. Our staff is more than happy to explain exactly where to go, and how. We can even provide you tickets for the public transport, together with the Lisbon Card, which provides you free entrance or discount to many museums and other cool cultural stuff. Also, we can arrange you walking tours, city tours, surfing classes and pub crawls.

Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the first nights cost of the reservation, unless otherwise stated in the property’s conditions. Deposits paid are non refundable.
