About Tribo da Praia Eco Hostel

Tribo da Praia offers tribe members a bar on the beach, surf school, and different styles of hostel accommodation in Peniche.

Our Eco Hostel was made to be as functional as possible having the least ecological impact in mind.

Building with pallet wood was just the start for making this eco hostel in Peniche. Some of the packages of the building materials used never left the building, they are still there, recycled and upcycled, made with a lot of love.

We inspire guests, recycle waste, make compost, use solar heating, use eco cleaning products, encourage mindful consumption to mention a few things we do here...

We're bringing it back to the basics and out of the 2 fully equipped kitchens, one has a fire wood stove. The outside patio has a barbecue space. hanging garden, seating area, surf rack and shower.

Bring your own bird, we also have a bird house.

Accommodation Information

Decorated by a loving team of artists, every room and common space has a unique touch to it.

Out of 2 separate apartments we created one common living space with:

2 dorms - 4 beds each

2 double bed suites with private sink

1 family room with a double bed and a single bed with private sink

2 fully equipped kitchens, one has a fire wood stove

a living room and an outside patio with a barbeque space, sitting area, hanging garden, shower and surf rack.

Location Information

Right next to pastry shops, cafés, restaurants, surf shops and the lady who sells fresh vegetables and fish in the morning, Tribo da Praia Eco Hostel is a hostel in Peniche area, in the perfect place to experience the local culture of a typical Portuguese village, Ferrel, which has it's north side splashed by surf waves.

Conveniently located so that one road goes to party bars and surf spots of Baleal Beach and another one that goes to secluded surf spot Almagreira

Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 3 days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the first nights cost of the reservation, unless otherwise stated in the property’s conditions. Deposits paid are non refundable.
