Estalagem de Monsaraz

The “Estalagem de Monsaraz” is located in one of the most beautiful Medieval Villages of Portugal, the village of Monsaraz, actually the balcony to the Big Lake of Alqueva.

Located near the Castle, in a peaceful stone square, the welcoming “Estalagem de Monsaraz”, with its stone walls and traditional architecture, offers the magic accommodation in the region.

The “Estalagem de Monsaraz” has 18 bedrooms, including 2 suites. They all are individually decorated, having antique furniture and wooden beds with carved wood bed rests. Each room has a window with a fantastic view to the plains or to the Big Lake of Alqueva.

The breakfast, continental buffet, has several of the regional products, seasonal fruits, diverse juice, homemade compote and other products.

By the exterior pool, surrounded by Cork trees, Olive trees, Orange trees and others, and with a wonderful and wide view over the planes, our guests can enjoy the unique sunset or have a relaxing walk by the panoramic garden. In cooler or rainy days (or nights) guest can enjoy reading by the fireplace with a hot drink.
