The location is great, everything is walkable from the apartment: supermarket 3-5 min, metro 7-10 min, train station 15 min, old city 10-20 min. Restaurants and coffee places all around. The host Carlos was nice and easy to communicate with. As a female traveling alone I felt comfortable. The apartment smelled good was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. Everything worked (TV, kitchen stuff, shower etc.). Great Wi-Fi. There was plenty of everything (towels, soap, blankets etc.). The kitchen is fully equipped. No problem with hot water in the shower. The building is well maintained and clean.

The owner Carlos was great, he welcomed us at the apartment and explained everything we needed to know, then spent a bit of time helping us understand how to get around Porto and the best places to visit and eat. As we were staying for 11 days he also provided plenty of replacement towels for us. The apartment is in a great location close to Lapa metro station and within walking distance of almost everything, although with Porto being so hilly it's easier walking down than back up :) The apartment had pretty much everything we needed with a well equipped kitchen and the balcony was great for breakfast in the morning and a little glass of wine before going out at night. The area is also very quiet at night so we had no problems sleeping. If and when we're back in Porto we would definately use Sunny Home again and highly recommend Carlos as a host.

Good location close to Lapa metro station and characteristic Cedofeita center. The apartment had everything we needed. Especially the balcony was much appreciated. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen. It's very quiet at night, so we had a great sleep. The host was very attentive, welcomed us there despite our delayed flight late in the evening.

Fantastic location, right next to the train station. Shops/ restaurants nearby and easily walkable to city centre. There is a lovely bakery a few doors down. Host was very easily reachable, would highly recommend!

Location was great, we had almost everything we needed (chopping board would have been a plus), Carlos was extremely helpful and informative, made us feel very welcome. Apartment was very cute and clean, bed was very comfortable. We walked to the center daily. Street was quiet and station was near. I fully recommend!

Property is gorgeous, looks the same as in the photo. I don’t think the location could have been better, we walked everywhere. The area is quiet and we slept very well. The facilities are great, we had everything we needed. The host Carlos was beyond helpful and kind and provided us with information and places to see/eat in Porto. Our stay was perfect and when we do come back to Porto, it will be in Sunny Home :)

appena fuori dal centro storico ma perfetto come funzionalità: si raggiunge tutto a piedi (20 minuti per Ribeira) e, per chi vuole, la metropolitana più vicina (Lapa) è a 300 metri. Scendendo verso il Douro si ritrovano tutte le diversità della città: dai quartieri più universitari, a quelli più monumentali fino a Ribeira, al grande ponte e a Gaia. Carlos è stato gentile: ci ha aspettato la sera (fuori orario, arrivavamo in treno dalla Spagna) e ci ha indicato i "trucchi" per conoscere bene Porto. Noi abbiamo soggiornato in un monolocale al primo piano, piccolo ma ben attrezzato, con un materasso molto buono. Abbiamo gradito (e bevuto) la bottiglia di vino offerta in omaggio. La vista non è sontuosa ma almeno c'è parecchio verde. Non spaventatevi per il portone arrugginito... dentro il palazzo è ben ristrutturato. Nelle vicinanze c'è tutto: supermarket, ristoranti, bar-pasticcieria, ecc.
