Braga is a relatively flat city and we walked to all the main sights. Our apartment was steps away from Casa das Natas and we had breakfast there twice- excellent service and yummy food. Around the corner is Maria Alice which also had friendly servers and a different menu- delicious! We ate twice at a Típica which was unique (no spoilers) and the food was great. We spent one rainy morning walking around Braga Parque which was impressive considering how lively it was and malls near us in the US seem to be dying off. If you want spectacular viewpoints visit: Baloiço de Esporões (need a car), Bom Jesus, and Sameiro.

Braga is really beautiful, the old town is breathing some kind of old wisdom, i have difficulties to put my feelings about it in words, in the parts where i was mostly hanging out i had the idea to be part of an old movie. I was here winter 2023 and it was raining a lot and i think it was part of the peace of mind it gave me. the silence in the streets. Just outside Braga you can find Bom Jesus do Monto and that is really impressive as well, like really really. I didn't went much to restaurants or bars but you can find them plenty.

Very nice town for a two day stay.
Very nice town for a two day stay. I happened to be there on the 1ST of December and joined in the festivities of the Christmas celebration which seemed to involve the whole town.
Braga is very old and historic and it has a lot of charm for its size and I enjoyed finding what felt like secret corners of the town to enjoy.

Braga was full of fascinating history- beautiful buildings, very friendly people. It is convenient for Porto airport, lots of choice for places to eat. I would like to have seen the Roman ruins (which we didn't find..)and museums - not enough time. We took the bus to Guimaraes and enjoyed exploring there too!

Lovely vibe to the city both in the day and the evening.
Lovely vibe to the city both in the day and the evening. Good public transport links that met our needs. Plenty of supermarkets and places to eat. We particularly liked the vegan/vegetarian restaurant 'Hibiscus', who did an amazing 'all you can eat buffet' for €16. I enjoyed the city and mountain views from the top of Pinheiro. The butterflies up there were spectacular (September).
Turned from a former hospital into a beautiful place for guests this hotels contained many positive surprises, signaling the good taste of the interior designers. We had wonderful rooms, spacious and with a balcony. The pool was wonderful as was breakfast each morning! So many great delicacies to choose from and a lovely place to sit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Safe parking. Great location to visit the beautiful city of Braga!
The location is stunning in the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte, high up above Braga. Unfortunately we couldn't see the views due to the torrential rain! The location is very quiet and the church and grounds are beautiful.
There was no restaurant for an evening meal in the hotel but was provided by the sister hotel just a few metres away. The staff here were exceptionally courteous and helpful.
Would definitely recommend.
Staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The location although not central, it's very good if you plan on leaving your car at the hotel for free and then walk a little to the center and the attractions.
Free and private parking spots for the guests, but no many spots. Enough for me as it was low season.
Room was comfortable and the AC, although old, worked like a charm.
Breakfast was great too, diverse and plentiful.
It's a better 2-star hotel than many 3-star hotels I've stayed at in Portugal. The location is great and close to the main places of interest in the historic center of Braga, allowing you to do everything on foot. The receptionist was very friendly, the breakfast was tasty and the room was impeccable. The bed was especially comfortable and looked brand new, without making those characteristic "hotel bed" noises.
We needed a hotel near the bus station and Hotel Moon & Sun Braga is within walking distance. The hotel is located in the center of the city but very quiet. The front staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room and bed were very comfortable. Braga is a beautiful city. We were only there for one night but enjoyed wandering around to see the sights. We highly recommend staying at this lovely modern hotel.
The hotel is just located in the most amazing part of Braga, in my view. A short walk to endless walking trails, amazing open views and scenario of the surroundings. Nevertheless it is a short drive away from the buzzing Braga. It is a retreat after a busy working day
The apartment is as it’s illustrated on the website. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Braga. The entrance is a bit scary at first site. But trust me it’s very safe, even at night. This will be my Togo place when I visit Portugal.
Amazing hotel in a great location. The rooms are nicely designed and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was also really friendly, we had no complaints and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking to come to Braga.
The staff was relly nice with me and help me during my days in the hotel. The common spaces are very comfortable and the rooms are clean. The storage space is really helpful if you are traveling with a lot of luggage like me.
Excellent service, great location, great big room and overall such a pleasant place to stay while in Braga. Only downside was the difficulties of parking near the hotel when loading our luggage. Would definitely recommend!
Very friendly is an understatement to describe our hostess. She really made our first experience in Portugal memorable. We didn't have any issue with the language or something else thanks to Soraia
Liked the contrast of the white modern rooms in the old monastery. Very easy to reach from Braga. Loved the scenery. I would definitely recommend this property above a city hotel.
Perfect location for a visit to Braga. This family owned hotel is a very nice respite in the center. The staff was friendly and helpful. My dog and I had a very comfortable stay.
Breakfast and rooms were outstanding and staff were exceptionally helpful. Will highly recommend this hotel and will love to stay there again whenever in Braga area.
The hotel as a building is very pleasant. The location is very good. There are lots of restaurants and parking around. Walking to city centre is 3 minutes.
