The Apartment is modern well laid out, spacious and has all the amenities nearby:, Hypermarket, Cashpoints ,Cafes etc. by to allow for Self Catering. While it's nice to be right on the beach during the day , its also good to be able to rest and sleep and the residential area where this is located is peaceful. So being an easy 15-20 min walk to the beach and active night life of Praia Da Rocha ,it has the best of both worlds. There is a local meet and greet arrangement, so you will be met outside the apartment building
We have been going to Portugal since 2006 and it's one of the best value place to go in Europe with excellent beaches, restaurants nightlife and the people are friendly too! Which is why I bought the Apartment there used this as an excellent base to explore the Algarve.
Praia Da Rocha has excellent sandy beaches, lots of nice restaurants and bars to choose from and is a good place to go even early or late season. 'No Sola Agua' is one of our favourite places close to the marina or just down the steps form St Catarinas Fort , a great place to chill out day or night and a string of restaurant opposite as well. Alvor is also only 10 minutes away (9euros in a taxi) and has a lovely old town and a great beach with restaurants
