Beautiful setting above Ponte da Barca with panoramic view from the backyard. Host is welcoming. Host & family live on the property which is a working farm. He gifted us with a bottle made from the farm's vineyard. Quiet and private. Property is next to a monastery. About 10-12 minute drive to the center of Ponte da Barca for many restaurant choices. Very chic & efficient remodel of historic building. Well equipped efficiency kitchen. Host provides foods for DIY breakfast.

Host is top class. Friendly, welcoming and informative and with excellent english language. The property is spacious, well appointed and of quality construction. The views from the terrace are far ranging over the village and hills with fruit trees and vineyard in the foreground. The property is within easy driving range of Ponte da Barca, the pretty local town which has a great range of shops, restaurants and cafes. The Peneda-Gerês National Park is also accessible easily by car with limitless opportunities for hiking, etc.

This was an excellent location with scenic views. We rented the studio and it was totally well equipped with all the facilities you could wish for. The studio was very clean and modern with a very comfortable bed. The host Helder was the most friendly person you could wish for. Everyday he would leave bread and cakes for our breakfast including a good supply of ham and cheese etc. Helder is very professional host and always asked us if there was anything else we required and to just to let him know. Our two cocker spaniels had much space to run around in and was made welcome by Helder and his friendly family. I would seriously recommend this stay. We loved it! A gorgeous farm just outside of Ponte da Barca with grape vines, oranges and lemons! We loved to hear the bells which were rung by hand from the church next door! A perfect make-your-own breakfast with fresh bread and pastry in the morning!

It was a good central location for exploring the surrounding area by car. There is good parking on site. The breakfast was delivered fresh each morning. The accommodations were spacious and offered window views on all sides.

The place is actually a beautifully situated vineyard with stunning views of the valley below and mountain ranges on the east and south. Not only is there enough of tasty, home made Vino Verde ("green" local variety of young white wine) but also you get to enjoy delicious breakfasts of local cheese and ham with fresh bread and pastries which the host dutifully delivers right to your door each early morning. Moreover, besides wine, the place also offers fresh, tasty and juicy lemons and oranges which you can pick yourself straight from their groves. The hosts well above the expected hospitality and the close proximity of the place to Portugal's only National Park and magical lake on the Homem River close to Campo do Geres only add to the exceptional feeling of well enjoyed holiday rest.

We stayed for 2 weeks, even being a small house it was very well equipped with everything that we needed, and if it wasn't available in the studio they would provide it for us. For breakfast, we were allowed to pick up fresh fruit directly from the trees at the farm 😍 and also fresh bread was delivered to our door everyday. Even though we had food restrictions the owner adapted really well to our requests. Being able to take our dogs and be completely at will was perfect. Proximity by car to lots of points of interest in Gerês and supermarkets and being able to charge the electric car at the farm was also a big plus. The staff was super nice!

Great place that is well located. The owner is very kind, will do his utmost to assist you on any need/issue. He provided us with some recommendations to places to go, how to reach more info, recommendations on restaurants close to the village. It was vey convenient to go from this place for different areas of Penada-Geres national park. The studio room is large, convenient, a lot of space, well equipped - the bed room, the kitchen, dinning place, nice bathroom, as well as the outside part. The owner put products in the refrigerator prior we arrived while every morning he brought us fresh and tasty rolls and cakes
