Beautiful part of Porto, right over the river with plenty to do. Most of the Porto wine "caves" are on this side of the river but getting across is a quick uber ride. We did a Tuk Tuk tour as well and got to enjoy a Fado performance at night. New Years Eve dinner cruise was great but book ahead so you don't miss out! Being across the river from the old town means gorgeous...
Being across the river from the old town means gorgeous views and a wonderful relaxed vibe. So many great places to eat and drink all within a short walk. And the old town is easily accessible by foot, tram, even cable car. You are surrounded by the port warehouses, and other renovated industrial buildings. The whole area has had a recent facelift and the city as a whole is very safe and friendly. Everywhere you go the staff and shopkeepers go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing stay. Except the lady in the tourist information. She must have been having a bad day!

Wonderful riverside location with a beautiful view across the river to Porto. Lots to do and many restaurants and bars close by. We enjoyed using the cable car and it was a short walk over the bridge to Porto. The Port cellars are all here and it’s only a short bus or tram ride to beautiful beaches.JoUnited Kingdom

He answered all of my questions in a very timely manner. Carla spent over 30 minutes with us helping to map out our day to maximize seeing as much as possible of Porto in one day. She also gave us a great recommendation for lunch. Both Antonio and Carla went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. Then, a short walk across the bridge into Porto. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable. We met Paula when we parked our car (included in the price, in a monitored lot, close by). They own the store/restaurant across the street from the apartment where breakfast is provided. Paula was extremely nice and gave us some good recommendations on the area. It was great to receive a stocked fridge ready to enjoy some cool beverages all included in our rate as well. It kept us from having to immediately run out to the store. Breakfast was excellent, and service throughout the hotel was wonderful. Being in Gaia meant great access to the Port Wine cellars which was very nice, and from the Rebello there are spectacular views of Porto and the bridges.

We had two apartments for our family of 5 adults. The apartments were clean and had all the amenities we needed. Clear instructions were given to enter the building with a code and get keys from a lock box. Easy check in and out. Used car park nearby. Would definitely stay again.
