History and Sandy Algarve Beaches
With a long and rich history, Lagos is nowadays a famous beach resort of the sunny Portuguese region of Algarve. Including wide sandy beaches and quiet coves enclosed by ochre cliffs, it also offers a lively city centre with one of the best mixes between history and modernity in the region.

Beautiful beaches and grottos. Great restaurants, fish market, and boardwalks for walking and biking. It would have been easier to explore neighboring towns with a car. We felt limited without one. The people are so kind and considerate and laid-back. The weather in April was beautiful but too cold for swimming. We spent a week in Lisbon, Tavira, and Lagos. Lagos is a very beautiful small city to visit, lots of attractions are around, which can be covered by max. 3 full days. I recommend the trip with 3 nights in the Lagos is enough, excluding golf, hiking or surfing requires.

My second trip to Logos last one 20 years ago If you are into walking the new boardwalk runs parallel to beach it's great. I think last two weeks in April would be better weather wise. Very well served with fish market and local produce. I always use public transport it was fine. 90 year old ice cream parlour yummy!!!

Lagos is beautiful and food is good value to eat out . The weather was poor when we went unfortunately with a family and there was nothing to do of it rained or was too windy. We searched and asked so many locals if there were indoor activities even an indoor pool that the kids could enjoy but nothing. We had a car so drove a lot to other places for more entertainment. Beautiful place it’s our second visit may return in the future but not in a rush

He was very professional and kind to accommodate my needs as I was traveling with my mother who has some mobility issues. Rafael made sure to send us to a room that would not require to go up too many steps. The room also had an amazing view to the garden. The walking shower was perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was very clean. There was a complimentary bottle of water waiting for us. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning as well. I was thankful we chose the rate with breakfast included. The marina and old town Lagos were a very short drive from the property. We felt like the location was in the perfect spot. Additionally, the hotel did a great job with preventative Covid Measures as well as had a Dr. that would come to the property to complete necessary Antigen tests for traveling back to Germany.

Easy walking distance to the centre with loads of cafes, restaurants and bars. 30 min walk to some incredible beaches and right in front of the marina for boat tours. The hotel breakfast was amazing, one of the best I’ve ever had. Highlight is definitely the roof top pool for afternoon swims and sun downers. Highly recommend! don’t hesitate and just book this hotel!
