I strongly advice going to "Adega 25 Abril" restaurant, very nice staff and good food at suitable prices. Do not go to "Taberna a Pipa". Awfull service, did not attend us at all, regardless of the small children within our group. They had an available table that was suposed to be for us, but did not prepar it or allow us to seat and order something for the children. We ended going to other restaurant.

The house and courtyard are stunning and our room was spacious and very comfortable. The hosts were lovely and looked after us very well. There were local cakes and complimentary water in our room, together with some chocolates for my husband’s birthday. Breakfast was delicious local produce. The breakfasts were excellent - plenty of choice with foods typical to the region. Very, very friendly people (in fact, some of whom are the owners themselves) and all are really helpful. We would stay again without a doubt.

You can walk around the old town to see the main sights. The apartment is big enough to host a family of three, very comfortable and lovely furniture mixing new and old styles.
