Beautiful room with a nice view to the nature, a friendly owner who also lives in the house. A nice private bathroom and a modern shared kitchen, where we cooked a dinner. The house is close to the supermarket. Good location when you want to make a trip to Furnas by a bus or to go on a hike to Lago do Fogo.

Had to get this room spur of the moment when our flight was cancelled and everyone was booked. All co-passengers were desperately searching for a room. I booked this room and my wife called to confirm by 10PM and we had a clean comfortable room by midnight. Owner/manager even called us a ride so we didn't have to wait for a regular cab. Owner/Manager was waiting as we arrived to make sure we were settled. Too dark to see the ocean from the balcony but it was heard. Clean towels were ready. The communal kitchen had bread and butter. Taxi (very skilled driver and nice man) was scheduled for first thing next morning.

This is a great location to use as a base camp for exploring the island. There was a lot of space, a well equipped kitchen, and the host was very nice, helpful and proactive. The grocery store is 5 minutes away (by car), and you can easily walk to it as well.
