Casa de Chouselas

Built between the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century, Chouselas takes shape in a palatial style, influenced by the Brazilian architectural style, which is characterized by the ornamentation with organic forms.

Casa de Chouselas lies in the Serra do Gerês Mountain, just 17 km from both Braga city and Gerês village. It offers a 24-hour reception, a bar and a restaurant on site. All accommodations at Casa de Chouselas feature a LCD TV and a modern private bathroom, plus free WiFi access. They all have a traditional Portuguese décor. A breakfast buffet is served daily and is composed by home-made cakes, regional bread, cereals, orange juice, tea, coffee and jam. Traditional Portuguese meals are available in the breakfast area, upon previous request and at an extra fee. Guests at Casa de Chouselas can enjoy cycling through the unique landscapes with one of the bicycles available on site. Guests can also participate in fruit-picking, like grapes, corn and chestnuts.
