The location of the hotel is excellent. All by itself on a beautiful stretch of beach. You can’t really see the ocean from the hotel though, but you can take a nice walk and be there in 5 mins.
The rooms are scattered amongst a few buildings and it was very charming. There is a small spa with a warm pool and sauna and steam which was a nice perk. But you have to ask the staff to turn on for you and they were upstairs so that was mildly annoying. The outside pool was nice and while it was to cool to swim just laying in the sun felt good and I’m sure during the summer it is a very popular place. The breakfast was very nice but we had better in the smaller boutique hotels we stayed at. It was nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy it though.

Cascais is a small city located on the outskirts of Lisbon. Once a fishing village and defence outpost, the royalty transformed it into a stylish summer resort. Mixing beautiful beaches, elegant mansions, imposing fortifications, and a wide variety of hotels, Cascais is a great option for every season.
King Luís II used the city as his summer residence from 1870 to 1908, attracting other celebrities, and changing the destiny of the tranquil village forever. Modern roads and railway lines linking to Lisbon and Sintra were built, as well as a casino and other facilities. Some of the best hotels and 5-star resorts in Cascais date back to these times.
Nowadays, the town is a cosmopolitan beach retreat along the Estoril Coast, where people from Lisbon and other Portugal cities come for a day or weekend escapade. Many foreign tourists prefer its more relaxed hotels over the sometimes hectic Lisbon atmosphere.
Don’t miss the Citadel, rebuilt during the 16th century in a typical star-shaped Renaissance style. Other attractions include the Museum of the Sea and the ‘Paula Rego House of Stories’.
Beach hotels are the gem of Cascais and you can find a wide range on Booking.com. Check your availability with enough time in advance, as the city remains a popular summer destination.
It's an amazing, vibrant city close to Lisbon. It has it's charm, felt very cozy, with nice people, beaches, coastal walks and other cities, such as Sintra nearby. We've also went to Cabo da Roca, the most western part of continental Europe and the views are spectacular!

Our initial plan was to stay 2n and move to the next town, but we stayed for extra 3n in Cascais. It's a lovely, very vibrant city full of various attractions, restaurants and nice people. We visited beaches, rented a bicycle. The city has very easy connection with Lisbon, about 45min train ride. You can feel there's a lot of wealth in the city, and the quality of stay here is very high. Highly recommended.

I am very disappointed.
I am very disappointed. The apartment is nothing like the photos...old and smelly. Very low maintenance to the property. There was a mole at the bathroom and a lot of Flys at the bath and washroom. The smell was awful of some very harsh cleaning liquid mixed with mole smell. They just took a very poor condition apartment and painted everything in white but it is still old and smelly ...painted the mole as well but you could still see and smell it

I love Cascais!
I love Cascais! There are many things to do here and nearby locations too. Great restaurants, shopping, beautiful parks, nature walks, cafes, museums, outdoor markets and not far from Cascais are the palaces of Sintra and even a Moorish castle. There is a train station in Cascais with trains that go directly into Lisbon in about 25 minutes. Without hesitation i recommend a visit to this beautiful city. I think you will love it too!

The nice restaurants along the coast that serves good seafood. My favorite is Mar do Inferno that I can recommend and the restaurant at Albatroz Hotel.
Cascais also have good connection with train if you like to visit Lisboa or Sintra.
This hotel was beautiful...it was like staying in a grand estate home. Our room, although pricey, was gorgeous with very comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our included breakfast was very good. Location was exceptional...close to all the restaurants and shops and walking distance to a very nice beach where you can rent chairs and umbrella for the day. There was a music festival going on and we had the luxury of sitting in our room and listening to the live music. We stayed for 3 nights.
Traditional hotel on the seafront with a lovely view from our room and from the dining areas and some truly excellent food. The weather was kind enough for us to enjoy sea swimming both mornings. The staff are extremely pleasant, some having worked in the hotel for many years. We also noted that some guests return year after year and we understand why. I am sure this may not be the most modern hotel in the town, but for us it was the best we could have hoped for.
This is a truly lovely hotel located right above the sea and next to a beach. The standard of rooms and facilities is outstanding. The staff were so professional and friendly and they are a credit to the hotel.
The breakfast was superb with amazing views of the sea.
The room and bathroom were bright and spotlessly clean and the complimentary drinks were appreciated
A memorable 2 night experience and a hotel we will be returning to. Thanks to everyone.
Fizu is one of the friendliest guys you will ever meet. He was kind, warm, welcoming and had lots of tips and ideas. He tries to turn his hotel/hostel into a family house, and we think he completely succeeded. The rooms are nice. Breakfast buffet is excellent. There's even a small pool and several lounge areas. The location is great both for enjoying Cascais and exploring Lisbon, as the city center and the train station are within 10 minutes.
Beautiful hotel, looks like 5 stars hotel. new one, opened just a year ago. central location, close everywhere, no parking available but the receptionist explained where we can park for free. CIty itself is beautiful and has like 5 beaches in the walking distance from the hotel, the prices are crazy though. the standard is over 30 euro for the umbrella and 2 beds :o so I wouldn't recommend staying in the city for too many days.
Beautiful outdoor oasis, so many gorgeous flowers. Great deep pool for swimming or lounging. Staff were very friendly and helpful - in light of our air conditioning issue. Hotel location is about a 15 minute walk beachfront. The hotel has a 3 legged cat on the premise, we were told she stuck around from the previous owners. She is sweet, came into our room and didn’t want to leave.
Breakfast was delicious but very important to arrive early because it gets crowded around 9am. The hotel grounds and proximity to Cascais were perfect. Also Michael at the front desk was very helpful throughout our stay and recommended alternative transportation for my mom and I to Fatima that saved us both time and money. Thank you! We hope to be back again!
It’s a cute boutique hotel and was a clean and comfortable stay. It is 3 min walk to Cascais train station and centrally located to restaurants, shops and beach. The staff were so kind and available via WhatsApp for any help and recommendations. The included breakfast was delicious and can order more food of anything on the menu.
Family owned property. It was owned by the great-grandmother of the owner. They recently reformed it and became a hotel to pay for the reform. It is a great experience, much better than a hotel. You can chat with the owners, experience a local house and be very close to the city center. The highlight was the amazing breakfast.
Great staff location is 5 minutes walk to marina and the town centre , lovely views over the sea. We loved they had a big cycle lane along front of the hotel where you could run and cycle beside the cliff / sea (this is a big advantage over other 5 star hotels in the area). The pool and property were beautiful .
Excellent 5* hotel! Probably the best I've ever stayed in! Clean facilities all round! Lovely intimate venue, with amazing food and the staff were exceptionally friendly and very attentive! Special shout out to Marco at the poolside bar for his above and beyond service! Thanks!
We love the position of the hotel, as it is close to our family who live in Cascais. We visit Portugal about 5 times a year
Staff are friendly.
Hotel room clean.
Breakfasts are good.Cannnot comment on other meals.
Location, location, location!!! The rooftop bar has the very best view in Cascais. Parking available right below the hotel and very convenient access to all that Cascais has to offer.
The best location right in the centre of Cascais and right on the beach front. We got a balcony room and enjoyed sitting out in the morning and evening watching the world go by.
Beautiful 7-room boutique hotel. Amazing service from Mara and Ricardo. A few feet from all the best restaurants. Fantastic location. Quiet. Would recommend it highly.
Everything....one of the best hotels in Portugal and I have been to many. No other comparisons to this great place.
True 5 star service and fantastic breakfast.
