This lovely home is situated in Lugar de Baixo on the island Madeira, Portugal. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a big lounge area with t.v. and stereo, as well as a garage for a small car. It is next to a busy street, so pets are not advisable. Upstairs balcony has sea and banana plantation views.
The house has three bedrooms, which has two double beds and one single bed. The downstairs lounge has a double sleeper for extra accommodation. The bedrooms upstairs have their own balconies with separate entrances and beautiful views. Bedding is supplied.
There is a bathroom upstairs and a shower with toilet downstairs.
Five to seven guests are welcome. Smokers welcome too.

Lugar de Baixo
Lugar de Baixo Palace in Ponta do Sol has been restored and is an important part of Madeiras architectural heritage, charming everyone with its Romanesque style and natural surroundings. The palace and its chapel on the hillside of Lugar de Baixo were built in the late 19th century.
Once known as Palacete dos Zinos, the palace was used by the state to house the Madeira Elementary Agricultural School and was also a primary school until 1976.
Lugar de Baixo Palace has four conference rooms and pleasant work areas on three floors, with a total useable area of just under 807m2, with ideal conditions for meetings, conferences, workshops, exhibitions, parties and many other events, efficiently and in comfort.
This magnificent building also has a courtyard with an area of 1,103m2, with a view of the marina and Lugar de Baixo lagoon. It can be used for a variety of social events, with catering facilities for 300 people.

Ponta do sol, Lugar de Baixo
Ribeira Brava (wild stream) is a small town on the southwest coast of the island. Now a lot easier to access since the construction of the two-lane motorway from Funchal. The town boasts many street cafés and shops and is certainly the place to spend a few hours taking in the sights and sounds. The town has made enormous progress in the last few years and has geared itself up to tourism. Many new facilities keep the locals local and the long sunshine hours on the west coast attract many bathing fans. Ribeira Brava was one of the first parishes of the island and was inhabited early in the islands history. Writers think that its name came from the wild (Brava) river (Ribeira) that used to flow in this area and, when the rain falls heavily, occasionally it still does.
