In the very centre of the ancient and picturesque city of Lagos, the Tivoli Lagos was created with all the character and charm of a small village. The 9-building hotel includes gardens, archways, terracotta tile paths and stairways. The design creates a small hotel ambience in each building, heightened by many tucked away air conditioned sitting areas, some containing fireplaces for winter comfort.

A central courtyard contains a large pool and a 4-by-5-metre (12-by-15-foot) children's pool surrounded by a sundeck. A solarium houses a 12-metre (40-foot-long) heated pool and 4-person spa tub. In addition to the listed facilities the hotel's health club contains a tanning room and massage rooms. Served by complimentary shuttle bus, the hotel's beach club 2 km (1.2 miles) away on a 7 km (4 mile) beach (Meia Praia) comprises a series of thatched-roof buildings, including an open-air restaurant/bar, facing a 14 metre (45-foot-diameter) pool.
