The apartment is perfectly located in the exclusive, idyllic setting of the highly acclaimed Don Manuel complex, yet it is close enough to reach all Lagos has to offer on foot. A car is not required. Guests staying in this lovely complex have exclusive use of the large swimming pool and separate children’s pool, beautifully maintained gardens, sun loungers and parasols. This is quite unique as Don Manuel is the only complex within the Marina to boast its own private swimming pool! The garden area is gated to ensure it maintains its exclusivity and also to provide privacy for its guests. There is only a small number of apartments on this sought after complex which has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and offers its guests the space to unwind and fantastic facilities to enjoy. There is a supermarket just across the road to the rear of the apartment. There truly is something for everyone here and with everything on your doorstep you can do as much or as little as you choose.

Completed in 2005, the apartment is a first floor apartment, superbly situated on Lagos Marina, only a ten minute walk to Meia Praia beach. The restaurants and bars on the Marina quayside are a five minute stroll away and a further five minutes will take you across the opening bridge into Lagos town centre where there are many more shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. The golf courses at Palmares and Boavista Golf Resort are within five to ten minutes drive and the courses at Penina to the east and Parque da Floresta Golf and Leisure Resort to the west are about 25 minutes drive away.

The apartments are built around a central garden area where there is a large swimming pool, a pool for children and extensive sun terracing with loungers. There is also a playground for children in the near vicinity. Lifts are available to the apartments and 24 hour security is provided.
The living area at the Apartment is well furnished with twin sofas, a coffee table and dining table to seat 6 . Patio doors lead to a balcony, which is furnished for outside dining and overlooks the pool area and to the Marina beyond. Satellite TV (BBC1, ITV, Sky News etc), CD and DVD are also provided.The TV is wired for your Sky Box so just bring your Box no attachments needed . Air conditioning is fitted throughout the apartment, providing both cooling and heating, depending on your requirement but making this property a suitable choice for a winter stay.
The kitchen is fully fitted and includes a full electric cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, clothes dryer and microwave. The master bedroom has a king size Bed and an en suite bathroom with shower over the bath. The second bedroom has twin beds and both rooms have large wardrobes providing plenty of hanging space. There is a further separate shower room.

A Spa and health club is available at the Marina Club Suite Hotel just a short walk away, payable locally.

The cosmopolitan town of Lagos, which many believe to be the best on the Algarve, is on your doorstep. The Marina dominates the river as it opens into the sea and you can choose activities such as deep sea fishing, a dolphin seafari trip and yacht hire. Lagos is an historic town with some city walls still standing after the earthquake of 1755 and there are several museums and churches worth a visit. This is a working Portuguese town with markets, shops and plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The fabulous west coast beaches, where the surfing is renowned, are only 30 minutes drive away and the Monchique hills and the historic old capital of the Algarve, Silves, is an equal distance the other way. As the Apartment is so centrally situated, a car is not essential for your holiday enjoyment but to gain an appreciation of just what the Western Algarve can offer, a car is recommended.
