Originally built around the early 19th Century, Monte do Casal has evolved from a two hundred year old manor house to a gem of graceful living, set amidst bougainvillaea and almond trees and close to the 13th century town of Estoi. A hidden treasure discovered in the early 80s by Managing Owner, Bill Hawkins, who trained at London's Savoy and Claridges, it is surrounded by sun terraces, swimming pools, a croquet lawn, fountains, gardens, landscaped parkland, bar and Gourmet reputed Restaurant.
